Balution at K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN 2026, Exhibiting in the Anyang Pavilion
2026.09.09Balution took part in K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN 2026, held at BEXCO from September 9 to 11, presenting its AI-powered personalized protein vending machine in the Anyang joint pavilion.
K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN 2026 is the largest integrated ICT event in Korea's southeastern region, bringing AI KOREA, CLOUD EXPO KOREA and IT EXPO BUSAN together under one roof. This year it was co-hosted with the World Smart City Expo (WSCE 2026), drawing a steady stream of visitors from companies and local governments over three days.
Balution joined as one of eight AI and ICT companies in the Anyang joint pavilion operated by the Anyang Business Agency, as part of the city's 2026 support program for promising local companies exhibiting at domestic joint pavilions.
The booth featured the completed AI protein vending machine. Visitors could use the screen themselves and follow the ordering and recommendation flow.
The demonstration showed how the service arrives at a personalized blend from body composition and activity data.
Over three days, a steady stream of visitors stopped by the Anyang pavilion. Many paused at the machine to tap through the screen themselves and see how the recommendation changed.
On-site questions centered on which ingredients are used, how a blend is decided, and how recommendations differ from person to person, which the team walked through together at the screen.
Throughout the event, the booth welcomed business representatives exploring unattended operations for fitness centers, offices and campuses.
Most questions were practical: required space and power, user flow, and how often ingredients need to be refilled. Because the right setup differs by site type, consultations focused on reviewing each visitor's conditions on the spot.
The team also opened the machine to show its internal ingredient slots. Visitors were especially interested in how 13 slots combine into 924 blends, and in the design choices made for hygiene and maintenance.
At the opening ceremony, Busan Mayor Jeon Jae-soo visited the Anyang pavilion to encourage the participating companies.
Balution will continue the conversations started at the exhibition and keep expanding the service so personalized protein is easy to reach in more spaces.
